Become an Informed Health Care Consumer

About three-quarters of the general population (including those working in health care) don't really understand health care or how the health care system works. And yet, many times we're forced to interact with health care with few rules and no description of our role and responsibilities. We need to understand we have an important role to play- we need to move from "followers" to Informed Health Care Consumer.

We've tried to put some of the basics in one location to provide a single-source to help you along the way. Check out the tab at the right for just some of the basics of the health care reform legislation. Many health plan web sites also have some good information so be sure to check them out. Remember, before forming an opinion- make sure you review the real facts from all sources- "spin" is a big deal in health care. And, if you have questions- please feel free to give us a call at 612-845-9522 or e-mail us at info@collaborationhealthcare.com. We'll see what we can do.
